Dan Fadden

Dan Fadden

I grew up in a family that was very involved in the shooting sports. My grandfather started a gun shop in 1962 and built a skeet club a few years later. My father taught me to shoot as a young boy, and by the time I was 12, I was shooting registered skeet tournaments around New York State. As a 16 year old, I worked my way to AAA class in all four gauges and won junior state high overall. I also shot international skeet and medaled in several Empire State Games and competed in junior Olympics at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. After becoming a teacher, I did not compete for several years, but never lost my love for the game. I eventually turned to trap where I have won multiple state titles and satellite Grand events, and carry a AAA singles average. I am the 2023 New York State champion in 16 yard singles, 1000 target high overall, and 400 target high all-around. I shoot handicap from 27 yards and am the 2023 New York State Sportsmens Handicap champion. I still shoot skeet and sporting clays for fun, but trap has become my passion. I love teaching new shooters and even coached a college team. Quality equipment is so important in this sport, and Trulock chokes have been an instrumental part of my success. Over my 30 plus years in the shooting sports I have shot just about every choke on the market and have never found one as good as Trulock.

Owen Haas

Owen Haas

My name is Owen Haas, and I am a shooter out of Savannah, Georgia. My first introduction to shooting sports was with a .22 bolt rifle around 12 years old, but I never really got involved in shooting sports until I was 14, around 2020, when my highschool started a clay shooting team. My roots are in skeet, where my first major accomplishment was shooting a 200x200 at the 2021 SCTP National Championships. From there I went on to hold AAA averages in 12 gauge and Doubles. I won the 2022 Krieghoff Masters 12 Gauge, my first major win, and the passion only grew. I was first introduced into the world of sporting clays through SCTP, but I have found my passion in NSCA, where I am a Master Class shooter and a 1st team Junior All American in both Sporting and FITASC. I've medaled at SCTP Nationals in several events, NSCA Nationals in several events, and finished 3rd overall at the 2024 Jack Link's Cup. I am a high school Georgia state champion, a SCTP doubles skeet national champion and skeet national runner up, and an enthusiast for everything clay shooting. I love my Trulock chokes, and they have been extremely important in my success as a shooter, and will continue to be as my shooting journey continues.
